Any cells which have only one candidate can safely be assigned that value.
In the example above, the only value which is not in row 5 [2 1 5 9] and
column 5 [3 7 6] and box 5 [9 4] is 8.

It is very important whenever a value is assigned to a cell,
that this value is also excluded as a candidate from all other blank cells sharing the same row, column and 3x3 box.
SuDoKu-Cracker does this automatically.
